Yeasu FTDX10 has dedicated Width and Shift knobs, which I prefer. The shift knob on FTDX10 is way too fine, though, if you turn it 90 degrees either side the shift value is some 50-60Hz only, so you need to keep turning that knob a lot. Any radio in the top 20 is going to be good, but getting a radio in the top 4 is a pretty good thing! Actually hybrid SDR's are better than pure SDR's as demonstrated with the 7300, the FT DX 10 handles better noisy environment and doesn't get overloaded when the 7300 does because of that hybrid arquitecture.The Heil PR-781 is a great mic for the FTdx10, if you want a boom style mic.
